Global Avatar of Nokia X7 may be Nokia 8.1, Specifications Leak
HMD Global has adopted a strategy earlier this year. Earlier, he launched the Nokia brand’s ‘X’ series smartphone in the Chinese market. After this, the same phone was launched in the global market as “Plus”. The company brought its Nokia X6 handset to the international market under the name of Nokia 6.1 Plus. Similarly, Nokia X5 was later released as Nokia 5.1 Plus. However, this Finnish company is considering bringing its Nokia X7 handset in the name of the Nokia 8.1 in the global market, not the name of Nokia 7.1 Plus. The new model has also been listed on the Geekbench website with Android 9.0 Pie.
Nokia X7 Review
The Russian Tipster, a Twitter handle named ‘Nokia anew’, believes that the first Nokia X7 was to come in the name of the Nokia 7.1 Plus in the global market. But the company’s chief product officer, Jhowo Sravikas has changed his mind and is considering bringing this phone in the name of the Nokia 8.1 in the global market. The new mall will be launched next year, but not before the Mobile World Congress 2018.
Nokia X7 Specifications
However, the alleged Nokia 8.1 handset has been listed on the Geekbench website with Android 9.0 Pie. The Geekbench listing mentions Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor and 4GB RAM. All these specifications are also part of the recently launched Nokia X7. On the other hand, information about the display panel and battery not yet launched has not been found.
Nokia X7 Features
If seen, the specifications of the alleged Nokia 8.1 are not seen anywhere as an upgrade to the Snapdragon 835 processor, Nokia 8. It is possible that instead of launching an upgrade to HMD Global’s old flagship smartphone, instead of launching the Nokia 8 family into a mid-range segment. The company wants to challenge Samsung’s Galaxy A series and Shaomi’s Me series model in this way. It seems too legitimate, because the company has a discussion on working on a five-camera Nokia 9 PureView.
But these information will take some time to be confirmed, because the expectation of the launch of the Nokia 8.1 will be preceded by the Mobile World Congress in February next year.
